How To Use

2nd Degree Burns and Miscellaneous Wounds

Always use Biafine according to medical advice, applying the emulsion in a thick layer and exceeding the surface of the lesion. When a dressing is necessary Apply an emulsion layer 1 cm thick. Do not use dry or absorbent dressings; Moisten the compressor that contacts the emulsion.

Radiotherapy treatments

For at least the 10 days preceding the first session of radiotherapy, apply the emulsion every day in the morning, midday and afternoon, massaging it over and around the area to be treated. Three hours at least, before each session, make an application ensuring a total penetration; after the session make two applications spaced with gentle massage. In the periods between sessions, do three daily applications with gentle massage. After the last radiotherapy session, do three daily applications over several weeks or even months, as prescribed by a doctor.

Benefits

Found in French medicine cabinets for over 25 years, this multi purpose water based cream is used by a vast percent of French people and it's increasing in popularity around the globe for its unique properties.
It effectively heals the skin after:
• Sunburns and minor scrapes
• 1st and 2nd degree burns including radiation therapy
• Post cosmetic surgery skin, laser peels, dermabrasion
Its herbal base easily penetrates onto the skin to hydrate deeply and soften scar-tissue, dead 'superficial' skin, and promotes anti-bacterial processes for less contamination.
The product has become a staple for beauty lovers as another popular user of the product include people who have had laser peels during facials which can leave skin quite raw. Biafine is popular thus among cosmetic- and plastic-surgery patients treating large areas, and also wishing to minimize scarring from incisions such as after breast-augmentation surgery.
Biafine can also be used in cancer patients after chemotherapy.
